“I have had a lot of opportunities to be involved at Hesston College. Even though it wasn’t my major, I did a lot with performing arts. I sang with Bel Canto Singers and the Hesston College Chorale, played alto and baritone saxophone with the Concert Band and took private voice and piano lessons.
