Applying for Financial Aid

  1. Complete the application for admission to Hesston College.
  2. Submit your high school and college transcripts and ACT or SAT scores.
  3. Watch for the Hesston College financial aid information mailed in November.

Student and parents should complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) at studentaid.gov as soon as possible after Oct. 1. The FAFSA uses income information from tax forms from the most recently completed tax year. For example, 2021 tax information is used to complete the FAFSA when applying for aid for the 2023-24 year. Early application is the key to getting the best financial aid package possible. Hesston College’s FAFSA school code is 001920.

For Kansas Residents, the FAFSA should be received at the processing center by April 1, which is the deadline for the Kansas Comprehensive Grant.

April 1 is also the awarding priority date for all applicants, so make sure you get the FAFSA completed by April 1.

Financial Aid is disbursed electronically in two payments to student accounts. One payment goes on student accounts early in the fall semester and one payment goes on student accounts early in the spring semester.
