The Physics of Body Mechanics

by:  Linea Bartel

Introduction:

Over the past years, the need for physical therapists and the services which they provide has been greatly increased.  This could be because the "baby boomer" generation is growing older and they are requiring joint surgeries which are followed with physical therapy.  For the younger generations, the need for physical therapy isn't due solely to athletic injuries.  Physical therapists do not only treat the symptoms of muscle and joint discomfort, they also try to fix the problem by changing the patient's body mechanics so that they are more beneficial and don't cause any more problems for the patient.  Physical therapy can be even more affective when the patient understands the reasons why they are being prescribed with certain exercises to fix their body mechanics.  My Research Paper can help you gain a better understanding of the physics of body mechanics and what new technology is making its way into the field of physical therapy.
