Director of School of Management

Hesston College seeks applicants for a full-time, 12-month faculty position as the Director of the School of Management. The Director will bring visionary leadership and strategic thinking to the School of Management.

The Director of the School of Management reports directly to the vice president of academics and is responsible for shaping and ushering in the next chapter of business education and industry partnership at Hesston College.

Responsibilities include:

  • Administering the college’s degree programs in business, including an experientially-based bachelor’s degree program
  • Recruiting, orienting, leading and evaluating business faculty and staff
  • Meeting with prospective students and alumni
  • Building key industry partnerships in south-central Kansas and communities throughout the U.S. where the college has strong ties
  • Cultivating and supervising student practicum opportunities through industry partners
  • Visioning and strategic planning for the department
  • Establishing and managing a budget

Qualifications:

Desired candidate has a master’s degree or higher in business or related field, as well as professional experience in both business and higher education settings. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to Christian higher education and the mission and values of Hesston College.
