Hesston College women’s soccer coach Bryan Kehr announces Rachel Brown, a defender from McKinney (Texas) High School, as the newest member of the Larks 2015 recruiting class.

Brown, a second-team academic all-state selection, helped McKinney High to a district championship her senior year.

A Texas Association of Soccer Coaches academic all-state pick, Brown will study early childhood education at Hesston.

“Rachel played on an elite team in Texas and will make a good addition to our program,” Kehr said. “She made several connections with other players during her visit and I anticipate she’ll be a great fit at Hesston College.”

Brown is the daughter of Marsha Anderson, McKinney. She attends Lifepointe Fellowship Church, McKinney.
