Hesston College women’s soccer coach Bryan Kehr announced the addition of Rachel Short-Miller, a defender/midfielder from Bellingham (Wash.) High School, to the Larks roster. A captain during her senior year, Short-Miller was a key part of a Bellingham program that qualified for districts the past four years.

Short-Miller attends Cornwall Church of God, Bellingham, where she is involved in student leadership and has attended several mission trips, including three to Mexico. A talented student, she will study health sciences at Hesston. In addition to soccer, she ran two years of track at Bellingham High.

“Rachel is the type of player who expends every available ounce of effort on the field,” Kehr said. “I’m looking forward to working with her and the work ethic and leadership she brings to our program.”

Short-Miller is the daughter of Melody and Eric Short-Miller, Bellingham.
