Hesston women’s soccer program adds to 2012 recruiting class

Carley Wyse signs with the Larks

Hesston College women’s soccer coach Bryan Kehr is at it again. Two days after announcing the first signee of his 2012 recruiting class, Kehr announced the addition of Carley Wyse, a defender from Archbold (Ohio) High School.

Wyse, the Northwest Ohio Athletic League Player of the Year in 2011, helped lead Archbold High to a 19-2-1 record and a berth in the state finals her senior year. She was named first team all-district and second team all-state.

“I’m very excited to have a player of Carley’s caliber and character,” Kehr said. “Carley will be a great fit at Hesston College and will excel on the soccer field and in the classroom.”

Wyse is the daughter of Mike and Julia Wyse, Archbold. She attends Central Mennonite Church in Archbold.
