Marty Essen, award-winning author for his book “Cool Creatures, Hot Planet: Exploring the Seven Continents,” will present his show “Around the World in 90 Minutes” on April 22 at Hesston Mennonite Church as part of Hesston College’s Earth Day celebration.

Grace Schmidt (Wichita, Kan.) watches a cataract surgery at Menno Clinic India. The surgeries were 15 to 20 minute procedures performed with local anesthesia and, at times, by the light of only a flashlight as electricity was unpredictable.
