Paul Friesen (left) tells the audience about the team he and Wilma formed with Robert and Vernette Regier. Regier, professor emeritus of art at Bethel College, North Newton, Kan., collaborated with Friesen so that both professors taught art classes at Bethel College and Hesston College from 1965 to 1978. “We were a team,” Friesen said. “I could never have achieved anything without the support of these three people during those years of teaching. We supported each other and were friends. We’ve had many good times and I hope we’ll have more years together.”
