Hesston College music student Erin Hershey will perform a recital at 7 p.m. March 17 in the Hesston Mennonite Church sanctuary on the Hesston College campus. The public is invited to attend.

Hershey, a flautist of Mechanicsburg, Pa., has been a member of the Concert Band and Bel Canto Singers under the direction of Bradley Kauffman and Chorale under the direction of Ken Rodgers. She studies flute with Kristin Shaffer. She is the daughter of Ron and Rhoda Hershey of Mechanicsburg.

Hershey’s performance will include works by Mozart, Bloch, Vivaldi, Burton and Chaminade.

Following the recital, the music department will host a reception in the Hesston Mennonite Church Community Center.
