Hesston College seeks a full-time Chemistry Professor to provide ongoing instruction beginning August 2023. Courses to be taught include Introductory Chemistry, General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. Additional coursework will be assigned based on the individual strengths, preferences and the experience of the successful candidate. This full-time 9-month position also requires maintenance of the chemistry lab and stockroom and supervision of student lab assistants. Additionally, online and hybrid courses may be part of a faculty member’s teaching obligations, including the development of new courses that meet the Hesston College standard of excellence in teaching, and the teaching of existing online courses.

Qualifications include master’s or doctoral (preferred) degree in chemistry, passion for teaching and learning and a commitment to Christian higher education and the mission and values of Hesston College.
