Hesston College offers a vigorous academic experience to its students from the U.S. and numerous other countries. It also maintains a strong sense of community in which students find nurture, encouragement and support. A competent faculty and staff are key ingredients in the provision of opportunities for spiritual and social development along with the academic core.

Acting on a conviction of long standing, the college is implementing a program of involving volunteers whose service will complement the work done by employed staff, and thus add to level of satisfaction experienced by students. In part, this conviction is based on the belief that in our local service area, an increasing number of retired or semi-retired persons reside who have life experience and time available that would enable them to enhance the level of service to the campus community.
