Take Your Credits Further

Hesston College has transfer articulation agreements with the following institutions (see the Hesston College Catalog for details). It is not necessary for a school to have an articulation agreement with Hesston in order for you to transfer there. Most students experience smooth transitions no matter what college or university they choose after Hesston. However, articulation agreements do represent an explicit commitment on the part of the school to welcome Hesston College transfer students, and these agreements usually make the transfer process even more seamless. For example, some articulation agreements may waive general education requirements at your next school, saving you time and tuition. Articulation agreements are all a little bit different, but some of the most common items included are:

  • Degrees covered: Articulation agreements usually apply only to students who graduate with an associate degree (AA, AS and/or AGS).
  • Lower-level general education: Some agreements consider a Hesston degree to be equivalent to all or most lower-level general education requirements.
  • Minimum course grade: The minimum grade that a student must achieve in a course to receive transfer credit.
  • Minimum GPA: The minimum GPA that a student needs to achieve in order to be accepted as a transfer student.
  • Scholarships: Scholarships that are automatically given to students who are transferring in with an associate degree.
  • Maximum transfer credits: The maximum number of credits that can be transferred into your next school.

If you are planning to transfer to one of these schools, you should read the full articulation agreement carefully. For a quick comparison, here is a summary of the agreements that Hesston currently maintains.
