Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 7 p.m., Hesston Mennonite Church
Comprised of: piano, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and horn, this virtuosic chamber group—a “piano windtet” is the only one of its kind in the world. In addition to playing familiar composers such as W.A. Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven, ensemble 4.1 explores works by lesser-known composers such as Walter Gieseking and Theodor Verhey. For this concert, we will also be treated to an arrangement of George Gershwin’s An American in Paris.
