2020 Keynote Presenters

Leonard M. Dow is a Stewardship and Development Specialist for Everence® in Philadelphia, Pa., where he helps individuals and communities in urban areas strengthen, sustain and build their financial capacity. Leonard joined Everence in April 2017 after nearly 20 years as pastor of Oxford Circle Mennonite Church in Philadelphia. He is a founder of Oxford Circle Christian Community Development Association, which launched many programs to benefit children and adults, and he worked in the retail banking field for 12 years. Leonard is married to Dr. Rosalie Rolón-Dow and they have three children.

Colin Saxton serves as an Everence® Stewardship Consultant helping individuals, congregations and nonprofits integrate faith and finance through stewardship services and financial resources.
With a passion for thriving communities of faith, Colin also serves as an instructor for Cultivating Generous Congregations, an interactive seminar demonstrating how ministry leaders can energize congregational generosity. Colin and his wife, Janine, live in Newberg, Ore., and are the parents of four grown children. Prior to his work at Everence, Colin was a Quaker pastor, superintendent of Northwest Yearly Meeting of Friends and General Secretary of Friends United Meeting, an international fellowship of Quakers. He also taught at George Fox University and Seminary (Newberg, Ore.) as an adjunct instructor.

Michele Hershberger has served as a Bible and ministry professor at Hesston College since 2000. In addition to teaching, she is the author or co-author of four faith resource books as well as co-author of the Hesston College Introduction to Biblical Literature textbook, The Bible as Story, and a new book called Why Did Jesus Die and What Difference Does it Make? Prior to teaching at Hesston, Michele served as a youth pastor at Zion Mennonite Church (Hubbard, Ore.), conference youth minister for the Pacific Northwest Conference, head of the Bible department at Western Mennonite School (Salem, Ore.) and project associate for The Giving Project for Mennonite Church USA.
