Psychology Professor

Hesston College seeks a full-time Psychology Professor to teach courses in psychology and behavioral science, including General Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Social Psychology, and courses in organizational behavior and conflict resolution. Other responsibilities include academic advising and contributing to the college’s First-Year Experience program. Additionally, online and hybrid courses may be part of a faculty member’s teaching obligations, including the development of new courses that meet the Hesston College standard of excellence in teaching, and the teaching of already-existing online courses.

Hesston College faculty are supported in their development of their skills, and both skilled and novice teachers are encouraged to apply. Qualifications include a master’s degree or higher in psychology or a related discipline (Ph.D. preferred) and three or more years of teaching at the college level (graduate assistant/associate teaching experience will be considered), a commitment to student-centered instruction and a commitment to Christian higher education and the mission and values of Hesston College.
