Hesston College seeks a Head Athletic Trainer. The Head Athletic Trainer is responsible for collaborating in the development, administration and delivery of comprehensive athletic training services to the men’s and women’s athletic programs. They will assist efforts with the prevention, recognition, management, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. This includes coverage of the Hesston College athletic training room with some evening and weekend responsibilities as well as practice and home competition coverage. The Athletic Trainer must abide by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) code of ethics, the Board of Certification (BOC) standards of practice for athletic trainers and partake regularly in inter-professional collaboration. Effective communication is critical.
Minimum requirements: bachelor’s degree in athletic training (professional degree), CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer, Athletic Training Certified (ATC) and Kansas licensed athletic trainer (LAT).
