Hesston College seeks a Cross Country and Track Head Coach to begin immediately. As part of the Athletic department, this is a part-time (.75 FTE), 9-month (minimal summer hours) position with additional duties available that can make the job full-time. The Head Coach is responsible for all aspects of the cross country and track programs at Hesston College, including:

• Recruiting prospective athletes
• Scheduling and travel arrangements
• Managing budget
• Mentoring and caring for student athletes within the context of the mission of Hesston College, with special emphasis on recruitment, athletic excellence and student success

Minimum requirements include knowledge of the sport and a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Additional desired qualifications include: experience and knowledge of Cross Country and track, ability to teach the skills necessary for competition, ability to recruit student-athletes, love for students and commitment to Christian higher education and the mission and values of Hesston College.
