Administrative Assistant

Hesston College seeks a half-time (12-month) Administrative Assistant for the new School of Management. The Administrative Assistant provides support to the Director of the School of Management and faculty within the department, ensuring effective and efficient day-to-day operations. Primary responsibilities include maintaining records and reports, assisting with events, coordinating travel itineraries, assisting with recruiting, communicating with faculty including adjunct faculty and providing budget management for the office suite. Requirements include excellent written and oral communication skills, computer literacy and mastery of standard office software applications (Microsoft Office, Google Apps), ability to manage multiple workflows and attend to details and a professional demeanor that emphasizes customer/student service. Candidates should have some post-secondary education and at least two years of administrative office experience, preferably within a higher education setting.
