Hesston College seeks candidates for a full-time Database and Systems Administrator. This position is responsible for managing / maintaining our Jenzabar ERP System and network infrastructure to include: implementing, maintaining and upgrading servers; providing internal support to network users; and creating and maintaining internal documentation and web-based tools and utilities. This position works within the IT Department and assists all team members as needed to meet departmental goals.
Requirements include: advanced/excellent knowledge of SQL Server database implementation and administration; advanced knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems; working knowledge of VMWare and Cloud-based applications and services including Google G Suite, Office 365, SharePoint. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience is required. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to Christian higher education and the mission and values of Hesston College.
