Hesston College Larks vs. Fort Scott – women’s game at 6 p.m., men’s game at 8 p.m.
Come to Hesston College for a night of free fun and basketball! Gate admission to the basketball games is free for all, and the night will be filled with plenty of fun for all ages.
High school students are invited to a pre-game devotional at 6:30 p.m. led by men’s basketball coach Dustin Galyon on the topic “Start with accountability: A biblical approach to walking together in community.” Devotional participants will meet in Yost Center at 6:20 p.m. and go together to the devotional in Kropf Center. Following the devotional, participants will be treated to free pizza and pop. Those wishing to participate in the devotional should RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, Jan. 19.
The rest of the evening will be filled with games, prizes, snacks and halftime entertainment, and of course, exciting Lark basketball against a tough Region VI rival. Don’t miss it!
Dustin Galyon is the Hesston College men’s head basketball coach now in his tenth season leading the Larks. He is also a professional speaker sharing his enthusiasm, passion and heart with youth, educators, business leaders and others around the country on topics like growing personal faith, connecting with Generation Z and achieving goals. Known for his high-energy personality, Galyon is a dynamic and motivating speaker. Galyon is a 2004 graduate of Hesston College where he was a point guard, team captain and Academic All-American for the Larks. He then played two season at Eastern Mennonite University (Harrisonburg, Va.) where he was a two-year starter and captain for the Royals.
