Intensive English Language Program

Hesston College has a long history of working with English language learners. The Hesston College Intensive English Language Program (IELP) is designed to help you be successful in all of your English language goals.

The Hesston College IELP program operates during the fall semester (mid-August through mid-December) of each academic year.

Ways to study at Hesston College

Intensive English Language Program:
Students who study in the Intensive English Language Program build strong written, reading comprehension and oral communication skills. The interactive classes allow for improvement in necessary skills to improve English language ability. Students live on campus and, during the academic year, participate in Hesston College student activities. Upon completion of the IELP, students will have English language capabilities to enroll at Hesston College or other colleges and universities.
Hesston College Undergraduate Study:
Students who meet test score requirements, such as a minimum of 32 iBT or 4.5 IELTS, are able to enroll as a full Hesston College student and begin taking classes. Students are able to improve their English in intermediate language classes, as well as traditional college classes. Students earn college credits while working their way to an undergraduate degree.
