Lark men break century mark again, move to 10-3

The Lark men’s basketball team has worked themselves into a bit of a hot streak, winning five consecutive games and moving their record to 10-3 on the season. They hosted the Warriors JV team of Sterling College Monday night, winning 114-90.

With the Larks up 35-33, Braden Handcock made a jump shot at the 8:34 mark in the first half, spurring a 7-0 run that included two consecutive treys by Cal Hartley. Little spurts from the Larks coupled with aggressive defense allowed them to extend the lead to 64-47 to end the half.

The second half was more of the same, the Larks forcing bad shots and taking advantage of their aggressive style to keep the ball moving up and down the court.
