Women’s soccer rolls Mavericks to stay unbeaten

The Hesston College Women’s soccer team (4-0), coming off a weekend in Texas in which they outscored opponents 16-1 in two matches, continued their winning ways Tuesday evening by defeating the Mavericks of Northwest Kansas Technical College 7-0.

Sophomore Allison Ebersole (Boulder, Colo.) led the way for the Larks, scoring a hat trick and adding an assist. Sophomore Mika Matsuda (Kyoto, Japan) chipped in two goals and four assists. Sophomore goalkeeper Cassidy Bontrager (Wellman, Iowa.) made two saves preserving the shutout for Hesston College.

The Larks host Central Christian College in a 5 p.m. match Thursday, September 8.
