Hesston College women’s basketball coach Dan Harrison announces Alyssa Graber, a 5’4” guard from Wolford (N.D.) Public School, as the newest addition to the Larks program.

A recipient of the Hardest Worker Award and Sportsmanship Award in basketball, Graber helped Wolford to a 17-7 season and third-place region finish.

Valedictorian and an Honor Roll student at Wolford Public School, Graber received the President’s Education Award her senior year. She will study either nursing or pre-med at Hesston.

“Alyssa is a tough defender who’s not afraid to take on the other team’s best ball handler,” Harrison said. “It’s easy to get excited about someone who is willing to play as hard as Alyssa does.”

Graber is the daughter of Ronald and Lori Graber, Wolford. She attends Lakeview Mennonite Church, Wolford, and is active in the youth group there.
