Women’s soccer adds Baldwin High School senior to recruiting class

Jenna Von Bargen signs to play soccer for Hesston College.

Hesston College women’s soccer coach Bryan Kehr announces Jenna Von Bargen, a defender/midfielder from Baldwin High School, Baldwin City, Kan., as the newest addition to the Larks 2014 recruiting class.

With the high school program being only three years old, Von Bargen becomes the first player from Baldwin High School to play women’s college soccer. Her senior year, Von Bargen helped Baldwin High to a regional runner-up finish.

“Jenna will be a great addition to our campus and a great team member for the program,” Kehr said. “She’ll bring a great work ethic to the field. We’re excited to add her to Hesston College Women’s Soccer.”

An honor roll student and member of the National Forensics League and National Honor Society, Von Bargen attends Baldwin First United Methodist Church and is active in the youth group there.

Von Bargen is the daughter of Tom and Robin Von Bargen, Baldwin City.
