The Larks greatly improved their defensive effort and limited the visitors to just 12 shots on goal, however KC cashed in on exactly half of them, several from close range. Chris Nachtigall provided solid leadership for the defensive unit while Andy Hoffman returned to the starting lineup and provided a boost. Ravi Karky supplied the Lark faithful with a few hopeful seconds on the offensive end with his relentless work. Hesston finds itself in action again on Thursday at Barclay (Haviland, Kan.) and at home versus Wichita State on Saturday.
