Coach Nussbaum's Comments
The Larks held Bethel scoreless for 61 minutes, the longest period of time in a game so far this season. Much of the credit goes to backup goalkeeper Ognjen "Ogi" Marjonovic who filled in more than adequately for injured starter Chris Hignight. Tony Hernandez played a stellar game in the midfield filling in for the absence of captain Oscar Mendoza who was serving a red card suspension. Also playing well in a substitute's role was Ravi Karky. Of note, tonight's game is the first of the season without a red or yellow card on Hesston's ledger. Hesston is back in action on Saturday visiting Bethany at 2 p.m.
