When I first thought about the fact that I would have to transfer from
Hesston College to another college or university, I was a little apprehensive.
I had heard the stories about losing credits when transferring from a two-year
college.
However, from day one, Bonnie Sowers, Hesston College director of Nursing,
worked closely with me to insure that I was meeting the academic requirements
for Hesston and Goshen College—where I planned to transfer. Bonnie
Sowers and Vicky Kirkton, Goshen College director of
Nursing, respected my decision, and worked together to make sure things
were lined up for the transfer. Now in my senior year at Goshen College,
I am thankful for the experience at Hesston College, and for the assistance
in preparing me for the future.
