We Propose--
Faculty and Staff Proposals about Serving Diverse Student Groups

  1. We propose: to share the SECRET.
    Because: Prospective students are unaware of who we are and what we do best. i.e. Hispanic students.
     
  2. We propose: Listening committee of persons to visit with North American Mennonite minority leaders about how H.C. can serve their constituency.
    Because: They are part of our constituency and need to be shown how we serve them and how they can empower their communities and develop leadership
     
  3. We propose: H.C. establish a program that intentionally connects diverse people.
    Because: A wealth of diversity on campus would broaden world view.
     
  4. We propose: Developing a community that is receptive, experienced, trained and supportive of responding to a purposeful effort to systematic recruitment of students of color.
    Because: To better prepare our students to work, live and serve the changing cultures of the families, churches, communities and world in which we live.
