Event Descriptions
Opening Convocation
Friday, Aug. 22 at 7:30 p.m.
This will be the first campus community event for the new school year. Students and their families, faculty, and staff will gather in the sanctuary of Hesston Mennonite Church to share hopes and dreams and to ask for God’s blessing and guidance. After convocation, everyone is invited to the dining hall for an ice cream social.
Campus Picnic
Sunday, Aug. 24 from 6-6:45 p.m.
The campus community is invited to share in an evening of food, fellowship, and fun. Faculty and staff, students, spouses, and family members are invited and encouraged to participate. Individual meal cost is $7.50. Reservations for all off-campus persons are required by Friday, Aug. 15. Call 620-327-8178. The meal will be served from 6-6:45 p.m. and will be followed at 7 p.m. by Mod Olympics.
