Dan Harrison, coach
Dan Harrison joined the Larks for the 2006-07 season after taking a two-year break from the game. Dan has been a successful high school coach in Kansas for 25 years and brings a wealth of experience to the game. His experience includes boys basketball coach at Minneola High School from 1993 to 1995 and at Campus High School (Haysville) from 1998 to 2004. Dan also coached women's golf at Wichita State University from 1989 to 1993, winning a conference championship and garnering coach of the year honors in 1992. Dan joined the Hesston College faculty in 2004. He teaches psychology and education courses. "In my years at Hesston College I have been impressed with the maturity and quality of women's basketball here. I hope to create excitement and enthusiasm in our players and to help them bring out the best in themselves and in their teammates." |

Brent Brockmueller
assistant coach, academic coordinator
Brent Brockmueller is beginning his second year as an assistant coach for the Larks. He also serves as a Resident Director and Co-Director of Activities at Hesston College, posts he has held since 2005. His focus is primarily with posts, passing and ball-handling. Brent was a four-year starter on his high school basketball team and competed in three varsity sports in college. Basketball has been a passion of his and coaching a life-long dream. As Academics Coordinator, Brent will implement and oversee programs to assist in the academic success of the women's team. Brent is a 2001 graduate of Hesston College and a 2004 graduate of Tabor College. |

Melanie Buller
assistant coach, strength and conditioning
Melanie returned to the Larks as an assistant coach
for the 2003-04 season. A 1993 graduate of Hesston College, Melanie was a
member of two Region VI D-II Championship teams. In 1991-92 her team lost
in the District B championship game by three points to the eventual national
champion, Illinois Central. Her primary responsibility is leading and planning
the Larks conditioning program. Melanie is a Recreational Therapist at Prairie
View Mental Heath Center. |

Hannah Gillham
assistant coach, recruiting coordinator
Hannah Gillham is entering her first year as an assistant coach for the Larks. As a 2007 graduate and former player, Hannah is excited for this opportunity to be a part of women's basketball again. "I am looking forward to having this new and different role as a coach. It will be a reward in itself to build relationships with players and to watch them grow not only as athletes, but also in the classroom, on a spiritual level, around campus, and overall to watch their positive life-changing experience at Hesston as it happens." Hannah serves as an admissions counselor at Hesston College, recruiting primarily in Kansas. |

Don Weaver
assistant coach, head of basketball operations
Don Weaver is entering his first year as an assistant coach for the Larks. Don brings with him broad experience in team sports and leadership. A three sport high school athlete, Don played college soccer for Hesston College where he was a team captain and was named to the All Region VI first team. His prior coaching experience includes 10 years of coaching MAYB girls basketball teams. After 20 years in the business world, Don joined Hesston College in 2006 as Vice President of Finance and Auxiliary Services. Don is a 1983 graduate of Hesston College and a 1987 graduate of Wichita State University. "Team sports are a great environment to learn valuable lessons that can be applied to all phases of life. I am looking forward to helping foster an environment where our student athletes can develop in all phases of their life." |
