In Addition …
My first year as a resident director was 2010-11, and I am thrilled to be
back at Hesston College. My two years at Hesston as a student have been
two of the best years of my life. I now consider myself lucky to be
back here in a job where my primary responsibility is to spend time
with students, build relationships and walk with them as they
experience college, and become independent young adults.
Originally from Holmes County, Ohio, I graduated from Hesston College in 2002 and finished my bachelor's degree in Spanish and secondary education at Goshen College. Since graduating I have taught middle school and high school Spanish in Elkhart, Ind., (1 year), and San Antonio, Texas (4 years). I also feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel to a variety of countries. Two of these places include Costa Rica where I was an exchange student and India where I taught English.
When you meet me you will quickly learn that I LOVE Ohio State football, eating sushi, traveling and running. I look forward to this coming year at Hesston College and the opportunities to continue to get to know the awesome students in this community.
