Strong winds grounded the flight skills contest. Usually students compete for accuracy in flour bag drop and landing contests. This year Assistant Chief Flight Instructor Amy Birdsell challenged students to an E6B competition which Jon Huber and Grant Baker won. The winners' names were listed on a plaque at the aviation facility at the Newton City-County Airport.
