The 500 Club is an 18-hole, par 72 championship golf course that challenges and excites golfers of all abilities. The Brian Whitcomb design is continually rated one of the best recreational values in the Valley of the Sun and a true Arizona golf experience.

Join the important cause of supporting student scholarships for Hesston College students at the sixth annual National Golf benefit Saturday, March 28 at The 500 Club in Glendale, Ariz. The four-person scramble features fun, wonderful prizes, fellowship and food at a top notch course.

11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. – Driving range open

12:30 p.m. – Start

5 p.m. – Chicken barbecue dinner time approximate, based on tournament finish


Awards will be given for:

  • 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place
  • Closest to the pin – two for men and two for women
  • Longest drive – two for men and one for women
  • Longest putt

Raffle prizes

  1. Two-day certificate for driving skills training at Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving (Chandler, Ariz.). Based on the High Performance Driving Platform, this course gets you behind the wheel of the 460hp Corvette Z51 C7 Stingray for timed Autocross, Lead & Follow on the Bondurant track, Accident avoidance scenarios, skid car time and many other maneuvers. 80% seat time gives you all the fun you can take while learning techniques and methods that you will use every day.
  2. Set of golf clubs (irons and putter) and bag
  3. Arizona Coyotes (professional ice hockey) game, suite for 12, vs. San Jose Sharks (April 4)
  4. Construction package – includes Dewalt cordless power tool set (drill, impact, sawzall, flashlight), bag and more
  5. Hot air balloon ride for two over the Sonoran Desert, includes full catered breakfast
  6. Coffee basket
  7. Date night – two tickets to 7:30 p.m., Aug. 29 performance of Wicked at Gammage Theatre on the ASU campus (Row 5, Balcony A) and a $100 gift card for dinner at PF Changs
  8. Picture/fine art package – have a favorite photo enlarged with museum quality printing on photo paper or canvas and framed
  9. Kennedy Space Center Astronaut Training Experience includes four nights of lodging and airfare for two
  10. Four sport pro package – baseball signed by Hank Aaron, Pittsburgh Steelers football helmet signed by Terry Bradshaw, Phoenix Coyotes (NHL) camo jersey signed by all players on the 2015 team and Phoenix Suns (NBA) jersey signed by Eric Bledsoe

1 ticket = $5, 15 tickets = $50. You do not have to golf to enter the raffle drawing and you do not have to be present to win. All raffle tickets for non golfers must be purchased by 1 p.m. on March 27. For golfers, raffle tickets can be purchased until tee time.
