Erb Hall renovation campaign

Campaign update

Hesston College is raising funds to renovate Erb Hall. The transformation includes replacing rusty pipes, improving energy efficiency, and increasing students’ quality of life in the dorms. So far, $1.7 million has been pledged to this campaign, and we need to raise another $1.3 million by summer 2011 to complete the project.

Why give?

Dorm living is a core element of student life at Hesston College. Simple things like new bathrooms, comfortable community spaces and quality furniture that gives students options for arranging their living spaces will allow us to continue providing a student experience that’s second-to-none. Increased energy efficiency will help us to be better stewards of both our resources and the environment.

How do I give?

Individual gifts of any amount are welcome. Individuals who make a gift of $5,000 or more will be recognized on a plaque in Erb Hall.
Class gifts are a great option for you if there’s a number of you and your classmates who are willing to make a joint contribution. By pooling your money to a gift of $5,000 or more, your class year will be listed on a plaque in Erb Hall. Your class representative will provide more information.

What will my gift provide?

$100 to $500 will provide items for individual rooms such as a chair, wardrobe, desk, bed and mattress, or chest of drawers.

$500 to $1,000 can provide individual items for lounges such as carpet, chairs, love seats, and tables.

$5,000 will cover the cost to renovate an entire mod lounge or a student room and allow your name to be included on a special recognition plaque in the dorm.

Please reference Erb Hall on your check or online. If you’re giving as part of a class gift, be sure to list your class year as well.
