Typical Visit Schedule
Visitors from out of state should plan to arrive Thursday evening. Friday is a full visit day! All appointments will be completed by Friday afternoon. Your schedule will look something like this:
Thursday (for visitors from out of state)
- Check in at the Admissions Office when you arrive
- Evening activities with your host
Friday
- Meet with your Admissions Counselor
- Campus tour
- Additional appointments: financial aid, faculty, class visits, sports, music, drama
- Evening campus activity
We will help with your travel expenses.
High school juniors and seniors are eligible for a travel reimbursement one time per school year. If you’re flying into Wichita, Hesston will reimburse 50 percent of your airfare (up to $200) and provide transportation to and from the Wichita airport. If you drive to Hesston, we’ll reimburse 50 percent of your fuel costs (up to $100). Present your receipts for a refund. For seniors, payment will be made upon completion of application file.
Your parents are welcome, too.
Your parents can take a campus tour and meet with the Financial Aid Director, an Admissions Counselor, and any of our faculty members.
