Success Stories - Jermaine Graham

My experience at Hesston College is unforgettable. Even though it is a small two-year college, you can still go anywhere after Hesston, if you apply yourself. I played basketball at Hesston both of my years there. When I first got there, people told me that I wouldn’t get the chance to go anywhere big because of how small Hesston is and I wouldn’t get any recognition.
   Look at me now--I am at Austin Peay State University, Clarksville, Tenn. Austin Peay competes at the Division I level in the NCAA, and is a member of Ohio Valley Conference. Last year, we won our conference and went on to play in the NCAA tournament, better known as the “Big Dance.” Hesston College and Coach Luke Hartman helped me develop on and off the court into someone nobody thought I could be.
