Success Stories - Ben Rheinheimer

It seems like just yesterday, I was sitting in my dorm room at Hesston College. But now, six years later, I am sitting in my office at Yellow Creek Mennonite Church near Goshen, Ind., where I serve as youth pastor. I have worked with both the junior and senior high groups for the past three years.
   As I look back at my time at Hesston, I can see how that experience has prepared me for this job. The Bible and religion courses I took at Hesston were very helpful, but it was the relationships I formed and the support I received that has really brought me to where I am today. Hesston helped me grow as a person, bringing out my gifts and strengthening my weaknesses.
   Would I have been a pastor without Hesston? Possibly. Did Hesston strengthen the pastor that I am today? Definitely.
