Youth Ministry major

Students talking and laughingThe Youth Ministry program at Hesston is an offering within the Bible and Ministry department, and is a four-year transfer program. It is also offered as the Youth Ministry Track within the Bible major--one of two tracks in that major, which is offered as a two-year A.A.A.S. degree.

Students in this program are typically seeking an enhanced life of faith and service in the church, and in most cases aspire to work in a ministry setting. The program includes required courses in biblical studies, history and theology, ministries of the church, and spiritual growth and integration, among others.

Students are required to complete 29 core credit hours in their plan of study, with a grade of “C” or better.
