Are you interested in so many things that you don’t know which major to choose in college? Would you like to learn more about yourself and the careers and programs of study that might fit you? If so, Hesston College is the place for you! You will find yourself in good company here. One fourth of the new students at Hesston each year do not declare a major. Many others who indicate a major are still testing their interests as well. Delaying the decision about a career and a college major is often a good thing to do. In reality, most college students change their major two or three times. By choosing to start out "undeclared" you place yourself in a position to gain the broad education that is essential for good leaders and that is valued by many employers. And you keep the door open for all kinds of possibilities. What does Hesston offer?
In addition, you will find at Hesston College a campus climate that encourages exploration. Here you will rub shoulders with students from all over the world, students studying a wide variety of subjects. In casual conversations you will become aware of fields of study that might appeal to you. Representatives from a number of four-year colleges and from various church and service agencies visit campus regularly. Dorm life, chapel, campus employment, activities, and special events - all of these contribute to your understanding of who you are and who you want to become.
