Social Sciences

The Social Science department at Hesston offers four-year transfer programs in child and family studies, counseling, psychology, social work, and sociology.

Students in these programs take a variety of courses that may include general and developmental psychology, the helping relationship, religions of the world, social welfare, marriage and family, and early childhood education courses. A broad array of supporting and general education classes prepare students for their junior and senior years and a future career helping people.
