Nursing

nursing studentsThe Nursing department at Hesston offers an associate degree in nursing, providing students with the academic background and clinical experience they need for successful careers as registered nurses. Hesston also offers a four-year transfer program in nursing for students who seek a bachelor of science in nursing (B.S.N.) degree. To choose the academic plan that is right for you, try the Nursing Decision Guide.

Hesston's two-year Nursing Program prepares students to take the NCLEX for licensure as a registered nurse. Clinical experiences in several local hospitals make the learning real. The nursing faculty repare students to minister to clients with a wholistic approach, taking into account emotional and spiritual needs as well as physical. Students in the four-year transfer program take a variety of general education courses while also developing competencies in the sciences in preparation for transfer to a bachelor's degree program.
