Education

The Education program at Hesston is offered through the Education department. Hesston offers an associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and four-year transfer programs in early childhood, elementary, secondary, and special education (see either elementary or secondary).

Hesston's two-year ECE Program prepares students for careers working with young children in classroom, preschool, and child care settings with hands-on learning in the college's preschool. Students in Hesston's four-year transfer programs (early childhood, elementary, secondary, and special education) take a variety of education courses including field experience courses in addition to general education classes that prepare them for their junior and senior years.
