Biology

The Biology major at Hesston is offered through the Biology department. Hesston offers a four-year transfer program in biology which can be the first step toward a degree in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, physical therapy, or veterinary medicine.

Rigorous courses and hands-on learning in the lab prepare Hesston biology students for transfer and completion of a bachelor's degree, building a firm foundation for graduate study and careers ranging from research and medicine to education, conservation, product development, and quality control. Students take a variety of biology courses in addition to general education classes for a well-rounded education.
