What to Bring

   Here are several suggestions for things you might want to bring with you from your home, in addition to your clothing.

• Photos of your friends and family
• Music (CDs or tapes) which you enjoy listening to
• A good dictionary which translates between English and your language
• Several small souvenirs or other articles which represent your culture

   Each year Hesston College international students sponsor an International Festival in which the students wear their traditional clothing from home. If you have space in your luggage, you might want to bring something you can wear for that special occasion.
   Most of our international students purchase their bedding (pillow, blankets, and sheets) after they arrive at Hesston College. After you are admitted for study by Hesston College, you will receive a list of things which students often purchase for their dormitory room.
