Our nearly 500 students represent more than 25 religious affiliations, 30 states, and 15 countries. One-third are from backgrounds other than Mennonite.
Academic Programs
Hesston offers more than 50 academic majors and five pre-professional programs.
Faculty Attention
The student-to-faculty ratio is 12:1, and the average class size is 16 students.
Athletics
The Larks compete in women’s basketball, softball, tennis, and volleyball, and men’s baseball, basketball, soccer, and tennis. Hesston also offers quality facilities for intramural sports.
Accreditations
Hesston College is accredited as a two-year college by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The Department of Nursing is approved by the Kansas State Board of Nursing and accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. The Computer Information Technology Department is a Novell Education Academic Partner and a Local Academy of the Cisco Networking Academy Program.
Financial Aid
Costs for tuition, room, and board are 20 percent lower than the national average for private colleges. Ninety-eight percent of our students receive some form of financial aid.
