Description of work: Deliver hot noon meals to the homebound elderly. Pick up meals between 10:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. at Newton Medical Center seven days a week. Will have between 10-20 meals on a route. Takes an hour to hour and a half to deliver, depending on the size of the route.

Date and time of volunteer work: Depends on what routes are open. At this time there is route open on Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. It takes about an hour to an hour and a half to deliver.

Equipment or tools needed: None.

Attire: Casual.

Transportation: You will need to deliver the meals in your own vehicle.

Number of volunteers working at this site: About 90.

Skills needed: Need to be friendly, dependable, be able to follow maps and instructions, be able to deliver the route without supervision.

Prior experience or study needed: Will train.
