LPN applicants may qualify to receive transfer credit for up to 16 hours of the nursing coursework (the entire first year of nursing courses). Hesston College values the education and expertise which the LPN has already acquired through education and work experience.
Hesston College will accept for transfer those courses that meet Hesston College course descriptions for the following requirements (if a grade of C or better was achieved).

Applicants choosing the LPN-to-RN track can usually complete the program in two semesters if the majority of the above requirements have already been met. To enter the second year of the nursing program, applicants must have completed all of the sciences (A&P, Chemistry and Microbiology) and Developmental Psychology, and have a maximum of three general education/supporting courses left to complete (including the computer requirement).
