Sunday, May 7 – Sing at Commencement.
 

Wednesday, May 10 – Depart for Europe!

Trying to catch some zzz's on the long flight. Some were more successful than others.
 

Thursday, May 11 – Arrive in Aalsmeer and Haarlem, Netherlands to meet our hosts for the first 3 nights of the tour.

Our first stop were the windmills. We were immersed in dutch culture right off the bat. This was part of the museum we stopped at and where we had lunch.

Hundreds of wooden shoes lined the walls of this shop. Many of us got a first hand demonstration on how they are made and why after 800 years they are still around.

Friday, May 12 – Start the day by visiting the flower market in Aalsmeer. Then we are off to Amsterdam where we will tour the Rjiksmuseum and perhaps the Anne Frank house. Concert tonight in Aalsmeer.

Early the Friday morning we all piled into the bus and went to the Aalsmeer flower market, the world's largest.

There were millions and millions of flowers. The smell was incredible.

The quartet members were a little short on cash so they decided to do something about it while roaming the streets of Amsterdam.

We were told the best way to see the city of Amsterdam was by boat. we rode on a boat much like this.

Saturday, May 13 – Spend part of the morning at the market in Haarlem, and then have free time with hosts. Concert tonight in Haarlem.

We took a tour of the St. Bavo Church in Haarlem before giving our second concert.
